Err is an open source chat bot for XMPP MUCs. Traditionally those chat bots were used over the IRC networks (see Internet Relay Chat bot) as opposed to XMPP chat rooms.
It is an extensible plugin-based framework written in Python. It has been designed to be extensible easily
